Our Story
CFA was established by Sir Scott and Dame Nicole Fleckenstein, Catholic entrepreneurs and members of the Equestrian Order of the Holy Sepulchre. Having experienced firsthand the challenges of building and sustaining businesses in the United States, they were deeply moved by the even greater difficulties faced by Christian business owners in the Holy Land.
Their time spent among the Christian communities of Jerusalem, Bethlehem, and Galilee revealed a clear truth: preserving the Christian presence in the Holy Land requires more than charity—it requires opportunity. From that conviction, The Christian Foundation for Advancement was born.
